Suicide in diddaballapura

The incident of a woman committing suicide with her two children took place at SM Gollahalli in Valiyallapallur taluk in Bangalore rural district.

She was offended that her husband had not taken her to a hotel for a weekend dinner. There is a quarrel between the couple.

The dead woman has been identified as Sandhya S. She had also set fire to her daughter Kusuma (4) and son Rohit (2) when they set fire to the villagers. However, three of them died in hospital without treatment.

Sandhya was married a few years back to Srikanth, a mobile service center in Periyaballapur. She was sick. It is also said that she was tired of this. Her father, Nagaraju, has lodged a complaint with the Periyaballapur rural police station.
